Mortensen checked, Tran bet 190,000 and Mortensen called. Tran showed the {J-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for two pair and won the pot.

Phil Hellmuth raised to 90,000 pre-flop and Thomas Wahlroos re-raised to 230,000. Hellmuth called. Hellmuth checked in the dark and the flop came down {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Wahlroos asked Hellmuth how much he had left and Hellmuth remained silent, his hands covering his mouth. Wahlroos bet 300,000, Hellmuth moved all in and Wahlroos called. Wahlroos showed the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} and Hellmuth the {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. The turn was the {5-Clubs} and the river the {9-Spades} eliminating Hellmuth. He won $123,670.

"That's the first time I've seen (pocket) Aces in two days," mentioned Wahlroos.

Tim Phan, newly seated to Phil Hellmuth's right after the redraw to two tables, just jokingly asked the rail if anyone had an iPod to loan him. Hellmuth has been jawing non-stop with his new tablemates.

Grant Lang Doubles Up Though C.K. Hua

Grant Lang moved all-in from the button for 528K and C.K. Hua called from the small blind. Lang showed the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} while Hua tabled the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The flop looked good for Hua when it came down {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, but the {J-Clubs} spiked on the turn to give the lead to Lang. The river was the {4-Hearts} and Lang doubled up.
