Gordon Hits the Wall
Gordon got it all in with ace-king before the flop, and Jacques Torbey was the man who would seal his fate, content to race for the knockout with pocket sevens. A third seven on the board spelled the end of Gordon's day, and he slung his player identification badge across the felt to the dealer with a frustrated sigh.
Torbey offered an apology as Gordon paced around the table, but it was unnecessary. "Don't worry about it," said Gordon. "Just put those chips to good use. At the very least, don't use them to double up one of those two!" he said, pointing at Andy Bloch and Chris Ferguson right next to Torbey.
Forcing a smile, Gordon made his exit.
