Bichon Doubles Through Fung

Steven Fung

Thomas Bichon is now sitting with just under two million in chips after doubling up through an uber-aggressive Steven Fung.

Fung opened the pot with a raise to 170,000 from under-the-gun and Bichon made the call from the big blind.

The flop came down {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Bichon quickly knuckled the table, passing the first option to Fung.

"How much do you have?" Fung asked the Frenchman.

Bichon counted down his stack, which amounted to 785,000.

"I'm all in," said Fung.

Bichon insta-called, tabling the {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} for top pair; he had Fung's {A-Spades}{9-Spades} crushed.

The dealer burned and turned the {J-Diamonds} on 4th Street.

"That's a good card," said one of Fung's railbirds.

"Steven needs a king to win the pot," said the announcer.

"Or an eight!" yelled out another Fung supporter.

Neither would come. The {3-Diamonds} completed the board, securing Bichon's double up.

Fung was left with just over 1.2 million in chips after the hand.
