Adrian Marin Eliminated in 5th Place (€72,240)

Adrian Marin - 5th Place
Adrian Marin - 5th Place
Ludovic Lacay raised preflop and Christophe Savary flat-called behind. Adrian Marin reraised all-in, Lacay passed but Savary called.

Marin: {A-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}
Savary: {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}

The board gave scant hope to Marin, as it came {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {K-Spades} {6-Spades}, Savary's three pair besting Marin's two.

Savary is now on 2.2 million.

Julien Arneodo Doubles Up

Julien Arneodo moved all-in for his last 500,000 and Ludovic Lacay quickly called. Given the shortness of Arneodo's stack, both hands were above what was probably expected to be seen.

Lacay: {10-Clubs} {10-Spades}
Arneodo: {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}

The board came {A-Spades} {5-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {J-Spades} and Arneodo moves back over 1 million. Lacay still has over 2 million.

Marin Slipping

Adrian Marin is down to about 500,000 after giving up a hand to Eoghan O'Dea. Preflop, Marin raised to 90,000 on the button and O'Dea called from the big blind.

The flop fell {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and O'Dea led out for 90,000. Marin called and both players checked the {7-Hearts} turn. The river brought the {5-Hearts} and O'Dea fired 270,000. Marin gave it up, boosting Eoghan O'Dea's stack to 2,400,000.

O'Dea Gets There.

Adrian Marin makes it 90,000 from the button and Eoghan O'Dea calls in the big blind.

Both players check the {3-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {J-Diamonds} flop before O'Dea fires out 130,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn. Marin called and they both check the {7-Hearts} river.

"Seven," said O'Dea and Marin rolled his eyes and mucked his cards as the Irishman turned over {7-Hearts} {6-Spades}.

Benny Spindler Eliminated in 6th Place (€55,828)

Benny Spindler - 6th Place
Benny Spindler - 6th Place
Crippled from before the break, Benny Spindler pushed all-in for his last 280,000. Ludovic Lacay thought for a moment and called in the small blind, Christophe Savary folded behind him.

Spindler: {K-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}
Lacay: {A-Hearts} {8-Spades}

Board: {2-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {A-Clubs}

An "Ooooh" from the crowd as Lacay took the pot on the river knocking out Spindler. Lacay now has 2.6 million in chips.
