Taking It In Turns...

Both Balazs Botond and Yury Kerzhapkin are both fairly short at this point, taking it in turns to push over each other's raises. Kerzhapkin just made it 40,000 but folded pretty quickly, showing the {A-Diamonds} when the Hungarian moved all-in.

Something will have to give soon though...

Botand Takes a Stroll Down Broadway

Under the gun, Balasz Botond opened with a raise, and the action passed all the way around to the big blind. Ludovic Lacay took a look at the man to his left and made a raise to set Botond all in. Without hesitation, Botond committed his final ~230,000 chips to the pot to put his tournament life in jeopardy.

Showdown
Botond: {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}
Lacay: {K-Clubs} {J-Clubs}

Botond had the best of it, and he would love the flop. It gave him the nuts as it fell {Q-Spades} {J-Spades} {10-Clubs} to give him Broadway right out of the gate. The turn {6-Diamonds} and river {10-Hearts} locked up his double up, moving him to about 480,000.

Don't worry about Lacay; he's plenty healthy still with 2.1 million.

His O'Dea?

Eoghan O'Dea
Eoghan O'Dea
Ludovic Lacay raised to 40,000 from the cutoff and Balazs Botond moved all-in from the button. Eoghan O'Dea called all-in behind him and Lacay passed.

Botond: {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}
O'Dea: {J-Spades} {J-Diamonds}

The board came {K-Clubs} {9-Spades} {K-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {6-Hearts} and O'Dea doubled up to about 650,000. Botond is crippled as a result.

Nevermind The Pollaks Here's The Arneodo!

Benjamin Pollak raised to 43,000 and Stephane Arneodo pushed for 118,000 more. Some 'umm-ing' and 'ahhh-ing' from Pollak but eventually he called.

Pollak: {6-Hearts} {5-Spades}
Arneodo: {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}

A fairly comprehensive board of {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {J-Spades} {7-Hearts} ensured the Frenchman's double up to about 375,000.

Tsan Sadnhi Eliminated in 14th Place (€16,420)

Tsan Sadnhi - 14th Place
Tsan Sadnhi - 14th Place
Tsan Sadnhi raised to 43,000 in the cutoff and Hichem Ben Halima popped it to 105,000 from the big blind. Tsan called and the flop ran out {5-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

Hichem led out 90,000 and Tsan went all in for about 210,000. An immediate call from Hichem revealed {Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for two pair, while Tsan tabled {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flush draw.

The {3-Hearts} turn and {8-Clubs} river were no help to Tsan, out in 14th place for €16,420.

Hichem Ben Halima now has 760,000

Tristan Clemecon Doubles Through Benny Spindler

Tristan Clemencon raised to 39,000 from the hijack and Benny Spindler made it 95,000 behind him. Clemencon moved all-in for a total of 299,000 and Spindler made the call.

Spindler: {K-Spades} {Q-Spades}
Clemencon: {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}

The board came {5-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {J-Hearts} and Clemencon doubled up to roughly 640,000 while Spindler is left with about 500,000.
