Arnaud Mattern opened to 15,000 and it got passed around to Erik Haik who made it 41,500. Mattern quickly reraised all-in but Haik was the one actually at risk, he thought for several minutes before the clock was called on him and with about 30 seconds left Haik made the call for his tournament life.
Mattern:
Haik:
Both players stood up but Haik was the guy losing out when the board came .
Fabrice Touil has been active as per usual today, most recently raising on the button to 18k. This was followed by an Andrew Teng big blind re-raise of another 46k on top. Touil wasn't going anywhere and made the call, seeing a flop, on which Teng bet out 67k. Touil hesitated only a moment before moving all in. This was a big bet - 300k - and enough to generate a dwell-fold from Teng.
Fast forward a few hands though, and Touil called a Michel Bouskila preflop raise to 18k only to find button Steven van Zadelhoff moving all in.
"You can't call," he said after Touil thought for a moment.
"No, I can't," he replied and folded his .
Theo Jorgensen raised to 12,500 preflop (as he does quite regularly) and Michael Kwiek on the button made it 30k. Jorgensen called. He also check-called 35k on the flop. The turn was the and now both players checked. On the river Jorgensen bet out 60k and Kwiek made the call, but made a light chip slam of frustration when he saw his opponent's and threw over his with a shake of his head.
Tablemate Ilan Boujenah, who's already been noted earlier in the day shouting at the top of his lungs, "ALLEZ!" when trying to outdraw Paul Bennazar's flopped set of Queens with a flush-draw for his Ace-King (all in pre) then announced, "Go Jorg-y, it's your birthday." He's definitely in more chirpy form than previously in the tournament, possibly due to his being in line for a min €23,480 payday.
Per Linde had raised preflop with Paul Bennazar calling in position and Patrick Bruel also called from the big blind.
The flop was and it was checked to Linde who bet 22,000. Bennazar called and then so did Bruel. All three checked the turn before Bruel bet out 90,000 on the river. Linde passed and Bennazar said, "Tapis!"
Bruel instantly called and Bennazar showed but Bruel was holding for a bigger house to pip Bennazar by one.
Michel Bouskila has been moved to the Teng/Touil/van Zadelhoff table and immediately started getting his shorter stack all in preflop. He moved in under the gun his first hand, gaining a "Welcome to the table" from van Zadelhoff. A little later and Fabrice Touil re-raised him out of the blinds, and got the same result (he passed for the extra 70k).
