Rutter Madness: Another River Save for Stu

With the bubble just one place away, every all-in is a tense one. Stuart Rutter was just in that situation and within a squeak of elimination, but was granted a miraculous river to save his bacon and give him 130k stack to work with...

Rutter moved in preflop over the top of Theo Jorgensen's raise to 8k (for 42k). Small blind Fabrice Tuil was the one who surprisingly asked for a countdown and then after a moment made the call. Big blind Ilan Boujenah looked for a moment like he was dwelling too, but had forgotten he had cards.

Jorgensen made the fake big stack grab, but then called behind. Rutter asked the floor if he could just leave, but was made to stay and watch.

The flop: {10-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {2-Hearts} It arrived after Tuil checked in the dark. "I can't promise that," said Jorgensen ominously, and in fact he did bet: 50k. That got rid of Tuil and they were on their backs:

Rutter: {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}
Jorgensen: {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}

The turn... {8-Diamonds}. The river: {9-Clubs}

"Yes!" Rutter said sharply as his Jack became part of a straight and he avoided the pre-bubble elimination spot.
