Tony G Off The Mark

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

From under the gun Tony G opened to 9,000 and found one caller, Rodrigo Dos Santos in the big blind. Dos Santos checked the arrival of the {2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop and then folded when Tony G fired an 11,000 continuation bet.

As he was stacking his chips, Tony G became aware that the player to his left, Valeriy Chupin, is Russian.

"Warren! (calling out to Warren Lush of bwin.party) We've got a Russian here. I'm going to send him home!"

Tony G then smiled at Chupin and said, "Don't worry I will make you famous!"

Yorane Kerignard Nowhere To Be Seen

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Yorane Keringard
Yorane Keringard

We have 26 players still in the WPT Malta Main Event but only 25 players in their seats because Yorane Kerignard is so far AWOL. If any of you fine people know him and have a contact number for him then give him a call because he is being blinded away. He does have over 500,000 chips but still.

Jackson Genovesi
Jackson Genovesi

Welcome back to the WPT Malta where we are down to just 26 players in the €3,300 Main Event and by the time play ends later tonight we will have reached our six-handed final table.

As was the case at the start of Day 2 it is Jackson Genovesi who is the man to catch, his 767,500 stack putting him way clear of the rest of the field. The dangerous Frenchman Yorane Kerignard (522,000) is certainly one to watch when the play resumes at 13:00 CET.

Here's how the final 26 players will line up:
