Goulder Pays Off Lakhov's Full House

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Alex Goulder raised to 35,000 and Alexander Lakhov called out of the small blind to see the heads-up flop of {A-Spades} {4-Spades} {A-Clubs}. Lahkov check-raised from 30,000 to 65,000 and called the reraise of Goulder for 105,000 in total. Both then checked the {J-Clubs} on the turn and the {3-Diamonds} river completed the board.

Lakhov bet 96,000 with another 150,000 behind and Goulder found an optimistic call with {2-Clubs} {2-Hearts}, yet Lakhov tabled {A-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} for the full house.

Karim Losing some Ground

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Niclas Adolfsson shoved for 302,000 out of the small blind with {K-Spades} {Q-Clubs} and the two limpers including Andy Seth folded.

Seth would then raise with {J-Hearts} {J-Spades} and Zo Karim defended his big blind with {8-Spades} {6-Spades}. Karim check-folded to a continuation bet of Seth on a flop of {10-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}.

Simeon Naydenov opened to 35,000 with {10-Clubs} {9-Clubs} and Karim called out of the small blind with {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}. Karim check-called a bet of 40,000 on the {4-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} flop. He did so again on the {7-Hearts} turn for 106,000 and both players checked the {4-Clubs} river. Naydenov scooped the pot with the pair of nines.

First Action

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Chris Hunichen raised to 25,000 from under the gun and Zo Karim called out of the big blind with {Q-Hearts} {J-Spades}. Karim check-called a bet of 27,000 on the {J-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {2-Hearts} flop and did so again for 64,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn. The {A-Diamonds} on the river slowed down the action and both players checked. Hunichen won the pot with {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts}.

Karim recovered the losses shortly after from Alex Goulder when his bet of 81,000 on the river of a {6-Spades} {3-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {J-Spades} {3-Diamonds} was called. Goulder only had {6-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} and Karim had that beat with {J-Clubs} {10-Spades}. The two chip leaders traded a few chips in hand #5 when Goulder raised preflop and Karim flat-called.

On the {2-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {A-Hearts} flop, Goulder made a continuation bet for 32,000 with {9-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} and Karim called with {5-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} before both checked down the {J-Clubs} turn and the {6-Hearts} river.
