Malak Cracks Kings

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Goswin Siemsen opened with a raise from the button and Vladimir Malak wanted to raise from the small blind but dropped one chip. The floor was called and it was ruled that he can raise, as a result the German then four-bet shoved for 70,000 with pocket kings. Malak called with pocket sixes and spiked the two outer on the turn.

Berger Finds Pocket Aces

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Seth Berger patiently waited for a spot to double up his short stack and was all in for 31,500 from early position. Alexander Lakhov called from one seat over and the other opponents folded. Berger turned over {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} and is the second short stack on his table to double up with the best starting hand in Texas Hold'em in the past 20 minutes.

Lakhov had two outs with {4-Spades} {4-Clubs} but the board ran out {K-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {3-Clubs} to let the American breathe for a while.

Welcome to the Table

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Vladimir Velikov opened and then called the all in of Vladimir Troyanovskiy for 59,500, turning over {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}. His opponent from Russia had that crushed with {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} and Troyanovskiy doubled up with the board running out {10-Clubs} {K-Spades} {7-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {2-Spades}. Alexander Lakhov joked to his countryman "welcome to the table" before the next hand was dealt.

Sandiep Khosa

Half an hour ago, Alex Goulder was sitting on 15 big blinds and suddenly he is up to almost 250,000 in chips. The Brit raised to 8,000 from middle position and Sandiep Khosa called out of the big blind. On the {A-} {9-} {3-} flop, Khosa check-called the continuation bet and then moved all in for 87,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn when a diamond flush draw emerged.

Goulder called with {A-} {K-} and Khosa's {A-} {J-} were in bad shape. The river was a {10-} and Khosa was sent to the rail.

Lakhov Gets Creative

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

It seems that Alexander Lakhov had lost some of his chips to Jakub Mroczek before, as he was down quite a bit before five-betting to 65,000. Jason Wheeler had made the four-bet to 33,500 and then folded, Lakhov showed him the {8-Hearts}. The next hand, Wheeler opened to 6,500 and was called only by Michel Mumuzic.

Wheeler bet the {4-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {2-Hearts} flop and both then checked the {2-Diamonds} turn. Wheeler continued his stop-and-go with a bet of 18,500 and that did the trick, as Mumuzic folded.
