Voskanyan Doubles Through Sanchez Morito

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Artur Voskanyan opened the action with a raise to 7,000 and Oliver Heidel called. Manuel Sanchez Morito then three-bet to 23,000 and called all in when the Russian shoved for 81,000. Heidel got out of the way and Voskanyan's {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} held up in the showdown against {10-Diamonds} {10-Spades}.

The board ran out {9-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {8-Clubs} to give Voskanyan a full house.

Jakub Mroczek seems to have had a very decent level so far, as he is up to more than 300,000 in chips.

Fours or Force?

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Steve Watts raised the button and Pawel Kapczynski defended his big blind. Kapczynski check-called the {2-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {3-Hearts} flop for 6,500 and did so again for 18,500 on the {K-Clubs} turn. He also checked the {9-Hearts} river and Watts checked for his stack behind for checking. Kapczynski showed {K-Spades} {Q-Spades} as winning hand to better the {4-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} of the Brit.

Boros Loses Final Flip

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Peter Boros moved all in for 53,000 with {A-} {10-} and Michel Mumuzic called out of the small blind with pocket sixes. The better hand preflop held up and the field has been reduced from 53 to 46 within the first half an hour after the dinner break.

Move at the Wrong Time from Barbarez

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Within the last few minutes, Robert Zipf, Ognyan Dimov and Bojan Asenov joined the rail. Alan "Ari" Engel was also all in preflop and at risk against Sergej Barbarez when the former footballer four-bet shoved from the button. Engel called all in for 106,500 with {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} and Barbarez was caught with the fingers in the cookie jar.

He turned over {K-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and Engel was guaranteed the double up after the turn of a {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {3-Spades} {10-Spades} board.

Carey Cannot Cash

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Owain Carey
Owain Carey

Down to his last 50,000 chips, Owain Carey was all in preflop and at risk with {7-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} against the {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} of fellow Brit Steve Watts. The diamonds draw were not good either on the {9-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} flop and Carey already stood up. The {5-Clubs} turn and the {K-Hearts} river both bricked and that was it.

Hills and Oliver Gone

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Straight after coming back from the dinner break, Lucas Blanco Oliver and Andrew Christopher Hills were eliminated at the same time. The details for Oliver are unknown, but Hills moved all in for his 40,000 chips with {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts} and Sebastian Langrock just flat-called. All other players folded and the German turned over {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}.

The Brit picked up an additional flush draw on top of his two live cards on the {6-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {2-Hearts} turn, but the {8-Diamonds} on the river was a brick.

The players have been sent into a 60-minute dinner break and there are 53 participants remaining. In the break, the T-100 chips will be removed from the tournament.
