The board read with three players still involved and David Janssen decided to check. Jan George bet 3,300 and the player on his left, Frenchman Soufiane Messadek, raised it up to 7,000.
Janssen quickly folded and George hesitated for a bit before also letting go of his hand. George's still off to a nice start as he sits on around 35,000 chips compared to Messadek's 28,000. Janssen has 23,500 chips left.
Messadek finished 9th in the WPT500 at Aria in Las Vegas last summer where he cashed for $26,000. That tournament was ultimately won by Sean Yu who took home $260,000 in this $1,000,000 Guaranteed event that had 3,599 entries.
