Wilkerson Wilts on the River

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

There was already about 10,000 in the pot with the board reading {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Sebastian Tejada bet 5,000 and Dylan Wilkerson made the call.

The river was the {a-Spades} and Tejada pushed all in, putting Wilkerson in the tank for a minute. Eventually, he slid his cards forward face down.

"Did you have a straight?" he asked, to no response.

McDonald Gets it In

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

Mike McDonald raised to 1,100 from the button and Ryan Rivers fired back with a three-bet to 4,500 from the small blind. McDonald picked up all his chips and pushed them forward, getting a call from Rivers.

McDonald: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Rivers: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

McDonald was behind, but the flop was good for him. The dealer spread {10-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and McDonald jumped ahead with two pairs. The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and Rivers surged back into the lead. The river of {9-Diamonds} sealed McDonald's fate, and he was eliminated.

Stack Update

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Here's an update on the chip counts for some of the players still here.

Madsen Makes a Boat

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Thomas Taylor was the first player in the pot. He raised to 800 from the button and Marco Caza folded his small blind. Jeff Madsen sat in the big blind and made the call.

The flop was the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and both players checked. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Madsen led out for 1,225. Taylor called and the turn was the {2-Diamonds}.

Madsen continued with a bet of 1,850 and Taylor called again, but mucked when Madsen showed {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a full house.

A Quick Rise for Esfandiari

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Antonio Esfandiari hasn't been here long, but he's already built a good-sized stack. He just added a bit more to it in a recent hand.

Thi Nguyen opened the action with a raise to 1,000 from the cutoff and the player in the small blind called, as did Esfandiari in the big blind.

The dealer spread {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} on the table and all three players checked.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and that player first to act bet 2,100. Esfandiari called but Nguyen gave up her hand.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and action checked to Esfandiari. He bet 4,800 and his opponent thought for a moment before calling. Esfandiari turned over {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} while his opponent gave up his cards.
