Big Decision for Dentale

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Mike Dentale was just put to a tough decision on the river, having to make the right call for his tournament life.

The flop was on the table and reading {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Dentale checked. Mahoney bet 120,000 and Dentale responded with a raise to 320,000. With action back on Mahoney, he three-bet all in, easily covering Dentale's stack.

Dentale went in the tank. He thought for more than two minutes, asking if Mahoney would show if he folded. He didn't get a response, and Dentale eventually, reluctantly, folded.

Four All-Ins

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Darren Elias bet 60,000 on the board of {3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} and AJ Gamboni pushed all in. Elias made the call and the two flipped up their cards.

Gamboni: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Elias: {3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Gamboni held bottom set and Elias had two pairs, needing a nine on the river to jump ahead. The final card was the {10-Hearts} and Elias gave Gamboni the double-up.

In the very next hand, Elias pushed all in from the cutoff and James Yang pushed over the top from the button. Everyone else folded to take the two heads-up.

Elias: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Yang: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Yang looked good for the double-up through the {5-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop and {j-Clubs} turn, but the river was the {k-Diamonds}, giving Elias the straight and the double-up.

The hand after that, Elias pushed all in from the hijack and picked up all the blinds and antes.

Then the next hand saw Yang pushed all in and he also picked up the blinds and antes.

Three-Bet Takes It

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Giacomo Fundaro was in the hijack seat and he raised to 95,000. With action on Rainer Kempe, he asked how much Fundaro had behind and determined it was about 750,000. Kempe three-bet to 230,000 and it quickly folded all the way around the table, including Fundaro who gave it up without more than a moment's thought.

Small Pair for Kempe

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

On a flop of {4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, and Rainer Kempe checked to Darryll Fish. Fish bet 45,000 and Kempe made the call.

The turn card was the {8-Hearts} and Kempe check-called another bet of 100,000. The river card was the {6-Spades} and Kempe and Fish checked to showdown.

Kempe turned over {k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Fish mucked his cards, awarding the pot to his opponent.
