Counts From Table 12

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Grigorii Rodin raised to 16,000 from under the gun and Jacques Torbey defended his big blind. Both players checked the {9-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {3-Spades} flop and the {4-Clubs} turn before the {9-Spades} fell on the river. Torbey bet 16,000 and was called to reveal the {J-Hearts} {3-Hearts} as winning hand.

Trips for Almani

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Mohamed Almani defended his big blind and then check-called a bet of 55,000 on the {6-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {6-Spades} turn. Atanas Kavrakov as initial aggressor did smell a trap when the {J-Spades} river saw another check by Almani and checked behind. Almani flipped over {9-Spades} {6-Clubs} for trips and the Bulgarian tapped the table.

What Chip Leaders Do

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Majid Ejlal Noubarian is "pushing the new generation around" and does exactly what chip leaders are supposed to do: Putting pressure on the opponents. Latest example was a successful three-bet to 39,000 after a 16,000-open by Grigorii Rodin.

Almani Gets some Back

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Kemal Sevevi min-raised from under the gun and Mohamed Almani three-bet small, too small. He was correctly told that the reraise has to be to at least 24,000 and that's what Almani put into the pot. After a flop of {3-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {3-Spades}, Almani bet and Sevevi quickly folded, exposing {K-Clubs} {9-Clubs} to the table.

Olgun Doubles As Well

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Vasili Kesnin raised to 17,000 and eventually called the three-bet shove of Ercan Olgun for 127,000 in total. The Russian was even happy about a split but his {A-Spades} {10-Hearts} could not get there against the {A-Clubs} {J-Spades} of Olgun. With the board running out {8-Spades} {K-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {J-Hearts}, Olgun doubled up and is back in the game.

Aykutalp Yilmaz Eliminated in 12th Place (€5,375)

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Aykutalp Yilmaz
Aykutalp Yilmaz

After a raise to 16,000 by Vitalii Grekul on the button, Aykutalp Yilmaz moved all in for 167,000 chips and was called by the Ukrainian. Yilmaz had a kicker problem with {K-Clubs} {9-Hearts} against the {K-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} of Grekul and both players would find top pair on the {K-Spades} {5-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} flop. Neither the {7-Spades} turn nor the {J-Clubs} river changed anything and Yilmaz headed to the rail.

Della Tommasina Doubles Through Almani

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After a preflop all in between Marco Della Tommasina and Mohamed Almani, the Italian was at risk for 147,000 with ace-king. Almani had him covered but could only reveal ace-queen, a ten-high board let Della Tommasina score a vital double up.

Olgun Folds Twice

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Grigorii Rodin raised to 16,000 and Ercan Olgun three-bet to 40,000 from the cutoff. All other players folded and Olgun did so as well after the four-bet shove of the Russian. Olgun opened the next hand to 17,000 and folded to the small three-bet of chip leader Majid Ejlal Noubarian.
