The Money Awaits

In 3 hours time, 2pm local time, 39 players return to the tournament room of the World Poker Tour Amsterdam Main Event. As just 36 players get in the money, the bubble will get underway almost immediately. There are several short stacks in the tournament, amongst them Jonathan Rozema, Pierre Neuville and Giacomo Fundaro.

Where there's short stacks, you'l have big stacks. And the WPT Amsterdam sure does have some rich in chips players going into Day 3. The biggest chip castle of them all belongs to Dutchman Farid Chati. He was down to a mere 13,000 at one point, but the last level of Day 2 proved very fertile and he catapulted his stack into the chip lead.

The goal for the day is to play down to a final table of 6, but it all depends on the pace of players busting out whether that objective is going to be reached. It's going to be another long day in the Dutch capital, that's for sure. But it's going to be action packed again as well, of that you can be assured.

Follow along the entire day, right here on PokerNews.com, as we'll bring you all the updates one can ask for.
