Day 2 Awaits, Sfez Leads

In 2 hours time, the Main Event of the 2016 PMU.fr WPT National Marrakech resumes. Day 2 awaits, and it's going to be a gruelling one. No less than 127 players remain and only 45 will make the money.

EPT Deauville High Roller champion Eric Sfez leads the field with a stack of 268,800. The first level will be 800/1,600 with a 200-ante, which means Sfez is bringing a whopping 168 big blinds to the table.

The contrast with Mathieu Selides couldn't be any bigger. The Frenchman brings just 2,000 to the table according to the official chip counts, good for just a little more than a single big blind. British bracelet winner Barny Boatman is also in a pickle, he lost a big pot late last night where his flush was rivered by a full house which cost him. Boatman starts the day with 12,500.

Day 2 kicks off at noon and PokerNews will be on-site for coverage all day long.
