Value for Am

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Rachid Am raised to 50,000 on the button and Rati Vale Il Dieko defended his big blind. Both checked the flop of {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} before Il Dieko check-called a bet of 50,000 on the {6-Spades} turn. The Spaniard would check-call once more, for 125,000 on the {10-Clubs} river, and mucked as soon as Am showed {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for trips queens.

Two Double Ups in a Row

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Rachid Am raised first to act, making it 55,000 to go, and he picked up three callers in Mathieu Papineau, Rati Vale Il Dieko and Aleksandras Voisnis on the button. The flop of {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} was checked to Voisnis, who bet 70,000, and Am called.

Papineau got out of the way before Il Dieko check-shoved for more than 770,000. Voisnis called all in and Am asked for a brief count on both stacks before folding.

Aleksandras Voisnis: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Rati Vale Il Dieko: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {2-Spades} on the turn secured the double for the Lithuanian, and the {4-Diamonds} river played no significant role anymore. Voisnis doubled for 496,000 and Il Dieko dropped to just over 270,000.

In the very next hand, Rati Vale Il Dieko open-shoved and Am called from the big blind.

Rati Vale Il Dieko: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Rachid Am: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

The {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop gave Am the lead, but Il Dieko got there on the {9-Hearts} turn. A split pot was still possible, however the {K-Clubs} river blanked and Il Dieko doubled for 271,000.

Small Pot for Voisnis

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ahoor Parham's raise from late position was called by Aleksandras Voisnis in the big blind. Both players checked the {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop before Voisnis' bet on the {2-Diamonds} turn for 52,000 won the pot right there.

Voisnis limped from the small blind the next hand and Johan Guilbert raised to three times the blind. That shut down all further action and both Voisnis and Guilbert remain among the smaller stacks with six hopefuls remaining.

Louis Linard

Rachid Am raised to 35,000 and Louis Linard moved all in for around 100,000 from the big blind, which Am called.

Louis Linard: {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Rachid Am: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

Despite picking up an additional flush draw on ther {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop and some further counterfit outs on the {8-Hearts} turn, Linard failed to improve as the blank {J-Clubs} fell on the river. For his efforts, Linard takes home 100,000 MAD and the remaining six players are guaranteed at least 130,000 MAD.

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Anas Tadini
Anas Tadini

Before the money bubble, Anas Tadini said loud and proud in table chat he is playing for a top prize. The Moroccan reached the final table, but ultimately Tadini had to settle for 8th place and 78,800 MAD, further adding to his poker resume.

Tadini opened to 35,000 and Rati Vale Il Dieko three-bet to 115,000 in the small blind. Tadini shoved for 260,000 and the Spaniard called.

Anas Tadini: {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Rati Vale Il Dieko: {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The flop of {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} improved Il Dieko, and the {6-Hearts} turn and {3-Hearts} river were both blanks to reduce the field to the last seven hopefuls.

Voisnis Doubles Through Linard

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

On the tail end of a hand between Rachid Am in the small blind and Rati Vale Il Dieko in under the gun, the former bet 55,000 on the {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{J-Spades} river and the latter called, then mucked when Am turned over {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for trips sevens.

Soon after, Aleksandras Voisnis open-shoved for his last 229,000 from the small blind and Louis Linard called in the big blind.

Aleksandras Voisnis: {A-Spades}{8-Spades}
Louis Kinard: {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The slight kicker advantage turned out to be vital, as the flop fell {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Voisnis locked up the double with the {2-Clubs} turn, making the {2-Spades} river a formality. Linard dropped to 10 big blinds and has plenty of work ahead.

Parham Takes Commanding Lead

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Anas Tadini opened the action with a raise from under the gun and Ahoor Parham was the only caller from two seats over. Tadini continued on the flopf of {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for 30,000 and Parham called before Tadini bet the {6-Clubs} turn for 80,000 and received yet another call.

On the {Q-Clubs} river, Tadini made it 160,000 to go and Parham was sent into the think tank. Rati Vale Il Dieko called the clock on him and Parham then carefully stacked a raise to 410,000. Tadini called and Parham rolled over {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for a king-high flush, while a frustrated Tadini mucked {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a turned straight face up.
