Van Zijp First to the Rail

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Coming from The Netherlands, Danny van Zijp has traveled along with Tobias Peters to discover Marrakech, but his first taste of the WPTDeepStacks Main Event turned out pretty sour when the Dutchman became the first to hit the rail.

Action was on the turn with around 8,500 in the middle with the board reading {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Van Zijp bet 5,100, Kamal Sefrioui check-raised all in for over 30,000 and Van Zijp called for his tournament life.

Danny van Zijp: {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Kamal Sefrioui: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

The river {K-Clubs} kept Van Zijp's hand second best and he departed the tournament area. The Dutchman has until the start of level 10 if he decided to reenter.
