Jonathan Therme has five cashes here in Marrakech, and has improved his chances of another and his first since 2015 after soaring up the chip counts.

He started the day with just 160,000 and moved up to 400,000 fairly quickly. However, after break he now sits on 710,000 and is the clear chip leader with the money bubble just 17 eliminations away.

The WPTDS High Roller went to an extra day, and play resumed after the Main Event wrapped for Day 1b. Eventually, the tournament finished at 4am with Arthu Conan crowned the champion, taking home 800,000 MAD (€~75,000) and the title.

Sadly, he is among the recent eliminations from the Main Event along with Alexandre Reard and Serdir Demircan.
