Edler Takes a Hit

Action then folded back around to Edler who doubled his opponent's raise, making it a total of 2,400 to go. His opponent opted to call and saw a flop of {9-Clubs}

Post-flop, Edler continued his aggression, firing a continuation bet of 3,200; his opponent called.

The turn brought the {2-Hearts}

and 'The Stunning One' fired again, this time tossing 5,125 worth of chips across the betting line; he was called once more.

The last card off the deck was the {3-Diamonds}

prompting both players to put on the brakes. At the showdown, Edler tabled a pocket pair of fives which played second fiddle to his opponent's pair of nines (A-9) and he was forced to surrender the hand.

Edler dropped to 14,000 in chips after the hand, though he's still above average heading into the break.
