One of our reporters just overheard Erick Lindgren tell his table about the time he and a few of his friends got bumped from their table at Tangerine night club here in Vegas. A VIP host told Lindgren that they needed the table for a certain "high roller" who was on his way to the club. Lindgren then inquired about the high roller's identity, only to find that it was none other than TV's Bob Saget!

"I got bumped from my table by friggin Danny Tanner!" Lindgren scorned, drawing a laugh from his table mates.

Ari "BodogAri" Engel Doubles Up

Eli Elezra opens the pot in middle position for 2,800, the button reraises to 8,800, and after about a minute in the tank, Ari "BodogAri" Engel comes over the top with all the 1,000 chips he can fit in his right hand. The dealer counts the raise as a total of 31,000. Elezra quickly mucks his hand, and the button immediately goes all in. Engel calls his remaining 8,000 and shows his {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} - more than a 2-to-1 underdog to the button's {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. Fortunately for Ari, the flop brings an ace, and his pair wins a pot worth almost 90,000. We think this puts BodogAri in the top five in chips; check our chip counts section for updates coming soon.

Madsen = Busto

Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen
On a board showing A-6-4, an unknown player led out with a bet of approximately 7,500, sending Jeff Madsen into the tank. Madsen ultimately opted to shove his remaining 20,000 worth of chips into the middle and his opponent made the call with A-7, claiming he'd only looked at one card - the ace; Madsen tabled A-5. The turn and river filled out nine, deuce, and Madsen's ace was out-kicked, landing him a spot on the rail late in level seven.

Erick Lindgren Doubles Up Again

Erick Lindgren limped under the gun, followed by another player in early position. An unknown player in middle position raised to 3,200, and the remaining players quickly folded back to Lindgren. Erick announced, "All in," for his remaining 9,200, and the second limper re-reraised for 10,000 more. As the original raiser was thinking, Eli Elezra, who was also at the table, laughed and recounted the action with Lindgren. Eventually the original raiser folded his hand, and Lindgren's pocket aces held up against his opponent's pocket jacks. Lindgren is now up to 24,000 in chips.
