Lars Bonding Heads For The Exit

Getting all the money in pre-flop, Lars Bonding showed {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and his opponent revealed {J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} as he muttered, "Good luck." The flop showed the {7-Clubs} in the door, but was quickly followed by {6-Clubs}{Q-Spades}, which left Bonding trailing. He would not improve on the turn as it came {10-Spades}, and yet another blank fell on the river. After a few handshakes, Bonding concluded his circuit championship event.

Roberts Busts Two; Approaches 50k

Clint Roberts just took down a monster pot and eliminated two opponents in the process. Here's how the hand went down:

Action folded around to Clint in late position, who limped into the pot. An unknown player on the button then put in a standard raise and the action folded to the big blind who moved all in for 10,000. Roberts made the call and when the action returned to the button player, he too shoved all in for a total of 14,000. Clint called that bet as well, setting up a three-way pre-flop showdown:

Roberts: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Button: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Big blind: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The board filled out {2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} giving Roberts the pot-clinching nut flush and 48,000 in new chips.

Alex Kravchenko; 32k and Rising

Alex Kravchenko
Alex Kravchenko
Alex Kravchenko raised before the flop with {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} and received a single caller. {6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} was the flop, and his opponent led out for 4,250. Kravchenko thought for almost two minutes before calling with his overpair. The turn and river brought the {8-Clubs} and {9-Clubs}, as both players checked the rest of the way to the showdown. The unknown player showed {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Kravchenko's jacks were good enough to take down the pot. The Russian now sits with just over 32,000 in chips.

Doug Lee Eliminates Phil Gordon

Phil Gordon
Phil Gordon
On a board showing {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, FullTilt pro Phil Gordon checked from the small blind. Big blind Doug Lee bet 3,500, which prompted Gordon to spring into action with an all-in raise for 7,000 more; Lee made the call. The showdown pitted Gordon's {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} against Lee's {K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Gordon's draw ultimately came up short as the {8-Hearts} rounded out the board to give the pot to Lee and end Gordon's tournament.

Minieri Eliminates Seif

Dario Minieri
Dario Minieri
On the last hand of play before the break, Team PokerStars pro Dario Minieri eliminated fellow tournament pro Mark Seif.

The pair got it all in on a flop showing {Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{A-Hearts} - Dario with {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Seif with {A-Spades}{7-Spades}. The turn and river brought running diamonds, giving "Super Dario" the nut flush and subsequently sending Seif to the rail. Dario now heads to the break with a comfortable chip stack worth approximately 55,000.
