Chainsaw Revving Early

Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler just took down a nice little pot in a hand that saw four-way preflop action.

Two players limped in before the action made its way around the table to Kessler in late position, who limped as well. The player with the button then raised to 200 and everyone who'd limped made the call; both blinds folded.

The flop came {7-Spades} {8-Spades} {4-Hearts} and the action checked around to the button who bet 650. One limper called, as did Kessler, sending the action three-way to the turn: {K-Spades}.

All three remaining players checked the turn, then the river {3-Spades}. The cards were then turned over:

Player 1: {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}
Kessler: {9-Spades} {9-Hearts}
Button: {J-?} {J-?}

Kessler's nine of spades gave him a flush, which was good enough to take down the pot, putting him at 16,600 in chips.
