and Meierotto checked. Banghart fired 20,000 and Meierotto called.

and the action was checked to the river. The {J-Hearts}

was the last card and Meierotto checked. Banghart bet out 15,000. Meierotto looked as if he was going to make the call, but then announced a raise and made it 55,000 to go. Banghart stood from his chair. "Why didn't I just check?" he said.

After a moment of standing and staring at the board, Banghart made the call. Meierotto turned up {A-Hearts}
