Two Pair Beats One Pair

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Brian Ali limped in from early-middle position before Jesus Cabrera raised to 1,200 from the hijack seat. Scott Clark called from the big blind and Ali also called, sending the three players to the flop.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and action checked around to see the {K-Diamonds} fall on the turn. Clark led with a bet of 3,300 and Ali called. Cabrera also came along.

The river completed the board with the {6-Clubs} and Clark fired 11,000. Ali called and Cabrera folded.

"One pair," announced Clark without showing. Ali tabled the {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Clark mucked his hand as he was unable to produce a better holding. Ali scooped the pot and moved to 45,000 in chips.
