It's Vegas, Baby!

Welcome to the start of the 2010-11 World Series of Poker Circuit - Caesars Palace Las Vegas Main Event! The first nine ring events are in the books and it's time for Event #10, the $1,600 Main Event. The event is set to be a great one, with over 100 players already signed up after winning satellites. On top of that, some of Las Vegas' top pros will be here to get in on the action, especially with online poker off limits right now in the U.S.

Here in Las Vegas, Caesars Palace has been buzzing with poker fever for the a couple of weeks now. Hundreds of players have come out to get in on the action and nine new WSOP Circuit champions have been crowned. Let's take a look at them.

What's more is that this season on the WSOP Circuit there is a $1,000,000 National Championship at the end of the season. Winning the Main Event at each stop will get you into that freeroll as will becoming to Casino Champion by earning the most points at a given stop. Right now, Blake Kelso leads this stop with 85 points. He has three cashes for $19,379. Fifteen points behind him is Jessie Bryant with three cashes and one win. After that, several players are tied with 50 points apiece. We'll be sure to keep and eye on this race during the Main Event.
