Micah Raskin Doubles Through Jason Burt, Revisited

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

In middle position, Micah Raskin opened to 25,000, and the action came around to Jason Burt's big blind. "I'll put you all in," he announced, and Raskin instantly called all in for 156,000 total. He was looking to double through Burt for the second time in this orbit, and it was another flip of the coin:

Raskin: {10-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}
Burt: {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades}

This time it was Raskin with the pair and the slight edge, and it was off to the races. The board smiled on the at-risk player once again as it ran out {7-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}. Ship Raskin his second consecutive double, this one moving him up to 326,000 and knocking Burt down to 260,000.

Klodnicki Continues

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Chris Klodnicki
Chris Klodnicki

Chris Klodnicki opened to 23,000 in early position, and Andy Frankenberger called from the big blind. That's as far as he'd go. He checked the {10-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} flop, then folded to a 35,000-chip continuation bet without incident.

That small pot should give the lead back to Klodnicki as he and Bell jockey for that top spot.

Micah Raskin Doubles Through Jason Burt

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jason Burt raised to 25,000 in middle position and Micah Raskin moved all in from the small blind for about 90,000 total. Burt called and the hands were revealed.

Raskin: {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Burt: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

“First hand I’ve opened with in a long time,” said Burt. Raskin didn’t seem to mind being in a race situation.

The board ran down {J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} as Raskin put it away on the turn with the nuts, doubling to about 185,000.

Oh, That's Why He Was Shoving

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

On the next hand, Micah Raskin raised to what looked like 24,000 from late position, and Todd Terry three-bet shoved on him from the button. Raskin could not call, donating back one round of blinds and antes that he'd stolen in the last orbit.

One hand after that, Raskin open-shoved again, and once again, it got through to earn 21,000 of those chips right back.

Terry Dodges Bell's Bullets

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Todd Terry

Todd Terry opened in early position and Chris Bell re-raised to 75,000 from the button.

Action folded back to Terry and after about three minutes he gave it up, saying he folded ace-king. Bell slid his cards to Terry to look and much to Terry’s delight, he turned over two aces.
