Astrolux Burns Out

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

In middle position, Curt Kohlberg opened to 1,400, and Brent "Astrolux85" Roberts three-bet him to 3,800 next door. Over on the button, Chris Klodnicki four-bet to 6,800 total, and that folded Kohlberg without incident. Roberts, however, was considering a big decision. He only had about 22,000 to start the hand, and he tanked for at least four or five minutes before plunking his stack all in. Klodnicki instantly called with the covering stack. And the aces:

Roberts: {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades}
Klodnicki: {A-Hearts} {A-Spades}

Roberts was already standing as the flop came {5-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {5-Spades}, and the {6-Spades} turn and {2-Spades} river have ended his day early.
