Jewell Eliminates Cooney

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Rose Cooney- 24th place
Rose Cooney- 24th place

Rose Cooney moved all in under the gun and received calls by Kurt Jewell in early position and Shane Campbell in the big blind. The two active players checked each street as the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Jewell flipped over {7-Hearts}{7-Spades} and it was good as Campbell mucked and Cooney showed {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. She was eliminated in 24th place while Jewell chipped up to 1.03 million.

Standridge Makes a Stand and Busts

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Scott Standridge- 26th place
Scott Standridge- 26th place

Action folded around to the blind and Scott Standridge limped from the small blind only to have Samuel White raise 35,000 more from the big. Standridge made the call and the duo watched the flop come down {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Standridge check-called a bet of 50,000 from White and then the dealer burned and turned the {8-Diamonds}, which both players checked.

When the {J-Diamonds} hit the river, Standridge moved all in for around 180,000 and White quickly called. Standridge showed {J-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for two pair but was felled by the {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} straight of White, who is now up to 590,000.

McPike Out in 27th Place

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Ed McPike- 27th place
Ed McPike- 27th place

Action folded to Steve Winkel on the button and he threw in a raise to 32,000. Ed McPike was next to act in the small blind and he decided it was time to move all in with his small stack of 16,000.

Winkel: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
McPike: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

It was a race until the flop came down {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, giving Winkel a set. The {3-Spades} on the turn left McPike drawing dead as the {9-Hearts} was run out on the river for good measure. Winkel is up to 280,000.

Hawkins Out in Three-Way Pot

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Maurice Hawkins
Maurice Hawkins

Maurice Hawkins raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and received a call from Jessie White in the small blind. Edward Chevallier, who was in the big blind, then moved all in for 97,000. Hawkins responded by moving all in himself for 225,000 and surprisingly White made the call:

Hawkins: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
White: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Chevallier: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

Both Hawkins and Chevallier were at risk as the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. After the dust had settled, Chevallier tripled to around 300,000, White took the side pot and sat with 820,000, while Hawkins made his way to the exit.
