Shiva Dudani Eliminated in 17th Place ($5,081)

Shiva Dudani - 17th Place
Shiva Dudani - 17th Place

Kevin Calenzo put in a raise preflop from middle position only to have Shiva Dudani move all in right behind him for a little less than 150,000. Action folded back to Calenzo who quickly called.

Calenzo: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Dundani: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Dudani was in big trouble and things looked bleak as the flop came down {4-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{3-Spades}. The {7-Clubs} on the turn changed nothing and Dudani was looking for an eight on the river to stay alive. Unfortunately for him, it was the {9-Spades} and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Dudani, who entered the event as the points leader on the WSOP-C National Leaderboard with 125 points, will be awarded 20 points for his performance in this tournament. This will bring his total to 145 points and with the next highest non-qualifier sitting with just 90 points, Dudani has likely attained a total that'll be good enough for a spot in the WSOP-C National Championship freeroll where he will have a chance to compete for a million dollars and a WSOP bracelet.
