A Few More For Engel

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante

On the turn of a {5-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} board, Ari Engel fired out 3,000 into a pot of about 5,000, and Bruce Peery clicked it back to 6,000. Engel took his pause to consider for a moment, and it was long enough that a middle-aged gentleman called the clock.

A few other players at the table had their feathers ruffled, explaining that the table had been particularly friendly up to that point. The gentleman explained himself, "I'm not mad at anyone. I'm just bored to death." Engel seemed to understand, and he didn't waste any more time making the call.

Both players check-checked the {2-Clubs} river, and Engel showed up {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} for the nut flush. It was better than Peery's {A-Clubs} {J-Hearts}, and that pot moves "BodogAri" up to about 28,000.
