McFarland Gets There, Wins Monster

Level 17 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Action folded to David Zeitlin who opened to 7,800 on the button. Brad McFarland three-bet to 22,000 from the small blind and Dylan Drazen went deep into the tank before folding his big blind. Zeitlin thought for a moment then four-bet to 49,200. McFarland five-bet jammed for 144,000, Zeitlin snapped it off and we had ourselves a 300,000-chip pot.

Showdown
Zeitlin: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
McFarland: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades} flop did not make McFarland a pair, but he was now drawing to the nut-flush. The turn wasn't a heart, but the {q-Clubs} was enough for McFarland to snatch the lead away. The {2-Spades} bricked on the river and McFarland is now around 300,000 chips.

Zeitlin is still somewhat healthy, he has over 75,000 chips.
