Ramdin Doubles Back

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

On the turn of a board showing {5-Hearts} {A-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {4-Spades}, Carter King (who had also bet the flop) led out again with a bet of what looked like 2,000, and the player next to him called. That brought the action to Victor Ramdin, and he raised all in for his last 4,275 on top of the original bet. King took a long soak in the tank before releasing his cards, but the player in the middle made the call to put Ramdin at risk.

Showdown
Ramdin: {6-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}
Opponent: ..........

"You have to show your cards, sir," the dealer instructed the player who clearly did not like his chances. He eventually showed that his {A-Diamonds} {9-Spades} was drawing dead, and the river {7-Hearts} locked up that crucial pot for Ramdin.

He's doubled up and then some, back into contention with close to 20,000 again.
