Big Pot, Bigger Draws

Four players went to a flop of {J-Spades} {3-Hearts} {10-Spades} and first to act bet out 1,200. The next player moved all in for a little over 10,000 and Derek Geise was next to act. Geise asked the original bettor how much he had, about 25,000, and Geise moved all in after some short consideration for almost 26,000.

The fourth player to act also moved all in with a stack just over 10,000. The original bettor shuffled his stack and then reluctantly folded. The hands were tabled:

Second to act: {K-Spades} {4-Spades}
Geise: {9-Spades} {8-Spades}
Fourth to act: {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}

With the deck seemingly running out of spades and all three players drawing to either a flush, straight or straight flush the original bettor left the table claiming he had the best hand.

The board finished {9-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} and Geise took the pot with a pair of nines and knocked out two players.
