Alemu Makonen open-shoved his last 107,000 from early position, and Alex Rivera - not knowing Makonen had shoved - tried to come in for a raise near the button. He retracted his action and made the call, and both blinds released.
Ramana Epparla started the hand with an opening raise 20,000, another player called and then Edward Pham raised to 65,000 on the button. Mark Wahba was in the small blind and shoved his short stack in the pot. Action passed back to Epparla and he called the 65,000 and the other player folded.

Vinny Pahuja started the action by raising to 17,000 from the hijack seat. Julian Schulman called in the cutoff, Alex Rivera called from the small blind, and the dealer fanned . Rivera checked, Pahuja continued for 26,000, and Schulman called. Rivera then check-raised to 67,000, and Pahuja moved all in.
Schulman and Rivera both snap-mucked, and Pahuja is now over 500,000 chips.
Eric Doerr open-shoved his last 100,000 or so from under the gun, and Justin Liberto re-raised from middle position. The rest of the action folded, and Doerr was crushed.
