About 30 minutes ago, we reporter that Joe Kuether was the big chip leader, sitting on 900,000. Well he has lost some chips since then, including a good amount in back to back hands recently.
In the first hand, we saw that Kuether was heads up with Allen Carter in a big pot. It was on the river when we got there, reading , and Kuether had bet out 36,000 in to the pot, which had 85,000 in it. Carter counted out a raise to 120,000, and slid it into the middle. Kuether thought for about 20 seconds before letting his hand go.
On the next hand, Kuether min raised in early position, and got three callers, until the small blind moved all in for 56,000 total. It folded back to Kuether, who isolated by throwing in a stack of red T10,000 chips. Everyone folded, and the cards were flipped.

Allen Carter has been slowly accumulating chips since just before the bubble, and he has just busted another player to get up to almost 400,000. As we got to the table, the cards had just been tabled, as Carter's opponent was all in preflop.

Shortly after Hellmuth walked away from his conversation with Mark Kroon, fireworks occured. We saw Kroon get up from his seat while asking the dealer to count the stack of his opponent. Before the dealer could even reach across the table, Kroon beat him to it and called.
The board read and it was the of Kroon leading the of his opponent. The turn was the and officially ended things.
Kroon yelled to Hellmuth, who was standing at a nearby table, about the luck he had just brought him as he raked in his new found chips.

We caught the action on the turn of a board contested between the player in the big blind position and Dutch Boyd, who was in middle position. The player first to act fired out 17,000 and after a minute or two of thought and what appeared to be ideas of a reraise, Boyd called.
The river was the and this time the opponent fired out 24,000. Boyd thought for about 5 minutes, clearly pained by the decision. He made the call and his opponent tabled . Boyd could only muck his hand and watch the chips go the other way.
Yes, Phil Hellmuth decided to show up and briefly talked to Mark Kroon, Kathy Liebert and Jeff Madsen. It sounded like he just played in a turbo they have going on today at Caesers and apparently it didn't go well.
