A Little Something Extra for the Final Table

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Tournament Director Bill Bruce has announced that the Choctaw Casino and Resort will be awarding each final table player a Choctaw branded fleece jacket. Considering the limited apparel poker players seem to have when they travel, it is a first-class gift for the players that have spent countless hours in the resort for the Circuit event.

Araya Away!

Abraham Araya just found a way to stop Derek Browning: Outflop him.

After Jack Miller opened up the pot with a 125k raise under the gun, Araya shipped it in from the cutoff for 1.485 million.

Browning counted out a call and after a few minutes deep in thought, made one. Miller mucked and yet another race was on with Araya's {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} needing some help against Browning's {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Help came on the {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and the {k-Clubs} turn and {10-Diamonds} river didn't hurt, knocking Browning from his five-million chip perch and putting Araya up near the top of the counts.

Browning Check-Calls to the River

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Will Nguyen limped in from under the gun and the blinds came along - Derek Browning and Justin Gardenhire. The flop came {10-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {5-Clubs} and action checked to Nguyen - who bet 80,000. Browning called and Gardenhire folded. The turn came {10-Spades} and Browning check-called 135,000. The river brought the {2-Spades} and Browning check-called 350,000.

Nguyen turned up {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts} and Browning tabled {J-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}. Nguyen took the pot and Browning said, "You're lucky that ten came."

Dejuante Alexander Eliminated in 9th Place ($26,069)

Dejuante Alexander 9th Place.
Dejuante Alexander 9th Place.

Dejuante Alexander just became the latest player to be chewed up and spit out by Derek Browning.

He pushed all in from the cutoff facing a 125k open from Browning and after his 1.34 million chips were counted out, Browning made the call.

It was {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for Alexander and {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for Browning in a rather classic flip, but Browning took the lead straight away on the {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop.

Alexander needed a ten or jack to double, but the {6-Diamonds} turn and {8-Diamonds} river sent him broke and pushed Browning up above the five-million chip mark.

Drew Dumanski Eliminated in 10th Place ($20,989)

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Drew Dumanski 10th Place
Drew Dumanski 10th Place

Drew Dumanski was short on chips from the previous hand and moved all in preflop for around 260,000. Daniel Lowery raised behind him to 560,000 to isolate Dumanski. Jack Miller was in the big blind and thought long and hard about a call, but folded after a moment.

Lowery: {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}
Dumanski: {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts}

The board ran {4-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} and Lowery's ace-high flush eliminated Dumanski.

Dumanski Dumps

After a 150k open from Michael Sanders, Drew Dumanski promptly shoved.

Sitting on his left, Daniel Lowery snap-called all-in and once Sanders tossed his cards in the muck the hands were revealed.

Dumanski: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Lowery: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} and Lowery doubled through Dumanski for a total of 905,000, leaving Dumanski just 265,000 in chips.
