Sabat Knocks A Player Out

When we got to the table, Eddy Sabat was in a raising war with two other players preflop. We don't know the exact bets, but we can gather that Sabat raised in early position, and was called by the button. The small blind reraised, and Sabat elected to four bet to 4,950. The button folded, and the small blind made the call, leaving himself with only about 2,500 left.

The flop brought all low cards, coming {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. The small blind checked, and Sabat wasted little time in tossing out a bet of 5,000 to put his opponent all in. He made the call, and when the cards were flipped, Sabat was well out in front.

Sabat: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The turn and river were safe for Sabat, coming the {2-Spades} and the {9-Spades}, and he secured the knockout, upping his stack to 40,000.

Dandrea Doubles

A woman in middle position raised to 475 before being three-bet to 1,500 by Raymond Dandrea in the cutoff position. Action folded back around to the original raiser and she made the call.

The flop was {4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} and it was checked to Dandrea before he fired out 2,200. However, his opponent decided to put in a reraise to 5,100. Dandrea thought for a bit before moving almost his entire stack in the middle worth 18,200. After a lot of contemplation, his opponent put in the chips to call.

This is where things got a little confusing. Dandrea tried to put in his few remaining chips, less than 1,000, but was technically acting out of turn. The floor was called over, the dealer was instructed to place the turn card down and allow the woman to act. She checked, Dandrea was then allowed to move all in and his opponent called to put him at risk.

Dandrea: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The turn and river were both bricks and Dandrea earned the double-up.

Henson Gets Value On River

Ray Henson opened action under the gun with a min raise to 300. Robert Cheung was next to act, and he raised it up to 950. A player in middle position called, as did Henson, and the three saw a flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Henson checked to Cheung, who bet out 1,500. Both the third player and Henson called, and the turn came the {6-Hearts}, pairing the board. All three players checked, and the {a-Spades} hit the river.

Henson checked for a third time, and Cheung assembled a bet of 1,500. The middle position player folded, and Henson immediately went for his chips, and tossed out a raise to 5,500. This caught Cheung off guard, as he thought it was simply going to be a quick call by Henson. Cheung was visibly confused, and started to repeatedly shake his head. After about 90 seconds of thinking, Cheung flung in the call, and Henson quickly turned over {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for trip sixes. Cheung mucked, showing {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, and Henson took the pot, upping his stack to 28,500.

Sengphet Floats

A player in middle position opened the pot with a raise to 400 and was called by the player in the cutoff. La Sengphet was waiting on the button and threw in a raise to 1,350. After the next two players folded, the initial raiser made the call before the flatter got out of the way.

The flop was {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and the player first to act led for 1,300. Sengphet made the call. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and this time Sengphet's opponent slowed down with a check allowing her to fire 2,850. This forced her opponent to lay down his hand immediately pushing Sengphet back over the starting stack.

Sabat Gets Paid Off

We came to the table as Eddy Sabat, Brandon Cantu, and another opponent were in a three way pot. There was about 5,000 in the middle, with the board showing {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Sabat bet out 1,275, and both Cantu and the third player called. The river came the {7-Diamonds}, and action was on Sabat, who elected to throw out just one blue T1,000 chip. Both players called the small bet fairly quickly, and Sabat rolled over {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a full house. Both players mucked, and Sabat scooped the pot to get over 30,000

Bonding Busto

We didn't catch the hand, but when saw that Lars Bonding's chair was now empty. We went over to look, and saw that there were no chips in front of the seat, meaning he has been eliminated.
