Blake Cahail Eliminated in 15th Place ($11,622)

Blake Cahail
Blake Cahail

With around 250,000 in the pot and a board reading {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, Blake Cahail checked from the under-the-gun position to Jeff Fitzgerald in the cutoff. The latter bet 110,000 but was met with an all-in check-raise to 384,000 total by Cahail. Fitzgerald asked for a count and then opted to call.

Showdown
Cahail | {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Fitzgerald | {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}

Cahail was in trouble and needed help on the river, but it was not meant to be as the {J-Diamonds} improved his opponent to a full house. Cahail was eliminated in 15th place and will take home $11,622.

Fitzgerald's Radar On Point

Level 25 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Jeff Fitzgerald made the right call.
Jeff Fitzgerald made the right call.

We found Jeff Fitzgerald, Bradley Lipsey and Brian Davis all see a flop together with Fitzgerald and Lipsey in the blinds. The board came {K-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {2-Hearts}, Fitzgerald checked, Lipsey checked and Davis fired 70,000. Both blinds called and the turn came {10-Clubs}. All three players checked, though not very quickly.

The river fell {K-Diamonds}, Fitzgerald checked and Lipsey pushed out 129,000 after a few moments of thought. Davis folded and Fitzgerald sat motionless considering his action. After a short while Fitzgerald elected to call and tabled {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts} for trip kings. Lipsey looked rather surprised to see his cards and tossed his cards into the muck.

Aces for Milanos

Gannesh Letchumanan opened for 42,000 from middle position and received a call from a short-stacked Jerry Milanos on the button. When the flop fell {8-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}, Letchumanan checked, Milanos bet 100,000 and Letchumanan moved all in. Milanos called off for 162,000 and rolled over {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}, which was out in front of Letchumanan's {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}.

Neither the {10-Diamonds} turn nor {Q-Clubs} river changed a thing, and Milanos doubled on the hand.

David Davenport Eliminated in 16th Place ($9,594)

As soon as Ryan Enis was handed his walking papers David Davenport was all in for his tournament life at the other table. We missed the action of the hand but he told us he was super short in the big blind with pocket nines and shipped it when someone raised in front of him. His opponent called holding {A-} {J-} and caught an ace on the flop.

Ryan Enis Eliminated in 17th Place ($9,594)

Ryan Enis was crippled in earlier action and was left with just 60,000. He moved his short stack all in preflop and Blake Cahail re-shoved behind him to isolate Enis. Cahail's move worked and the two went heads up.

Cahail: {7-Spades} {7-Hearts}
Enis: {A-Diamonds} {6-Hearts}

The board ran an uneventful {5-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {9-Spades} {4-Spades} {Q-Clubs} and Enis was eliminated.

Jeter Brock Eliminated in 18th Place ($9,594)

A short-stacked Jeter Brock got his last 178,000 all in preflop holding {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and was in big trouble against the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} of Chris Conrad. Brock seemed to know his fate was sealed as he was up out of his chair and prepared to make a quick exit.

Sure enough, the board provided no help as it ran out {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Brock hit the rail in 18th place.
