Tiller Flops a Set

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

After a late position player raised to 1,500, Patrick Tiller called from the button and the player in the big blind tossed out a call as well.

The flop was {6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and the big blind checked. The original raiser bet 1,800 only to have Tiller come over the top for 4,300. The big blind folded and Tiller's final opponent quickly did the same. As he raked in his new chips, he showed {7-Hearts}{7-Spades} to his opponents for a set of sevens. He's now sitting on about 49,000.

Carli Runs Into Bullets

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

An early position player opened to 1,200 and found a call from the player on the button and Doug Carli out of the big blind.

The flop was {5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Carli checked. The original raiser continued for 2,500 and the button folded. Carli called and the duo saw the {4-Diamonds} turn. Carli tapped the table once again and then called when his opponent moved out 3,500.

The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Carli took this opportunity to lead for 8,000. Carli's opponent called and Carli showed {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a busted flush draw. His opponent tabled {A-Clubs}{A-Spades} and took down the pot, leaving Carli with about 24,000 in chips.

Phahurat Fires Thrice

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Action folded around to AP Phahurat's button and he made it 1,050 to go. The small blind folded and the big blind called. The flop brought {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Phahurat's opponent check-called a bet of 1,500.

Fourth street was the {2-Clubs} and another check prompted Phahurat to fire 4,000. Once again his opponent called and the river was the {4-Clubs}. Phahurat's opponent checked a third time and Phahurat fired 10,000. His opponent folded his hand, allowing him to drag in the pot. Phahurat now has roughly 41,000 in chips.

Conrad Beats Him

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Chris Conrad opened to 1,050 from middle position and received one call from the player on the button.

The dealer spread out a flop that read {J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Conrad continued for 1,100. His opponent flat called.

"Have I beaten you in a hand yet, sir?" Conrad asked with a smile.

"Yes, you did," quickly replied his opponent.

The turn was the {7-Spades} and both players checked to see the {8-Clubs} completed the board. Conrad dropped 4,525 into the middle and his opponent quickly released.

"Now I KNOW I have!" said Conrad as he scooped up the pot.
