Kruger Sends Thomas Packing

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Not long after doubling up Aaron Massey, Kruger once again got a boatload of chips in the middle with someone's tournament life on the line. This time, Kruger held {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} and was crushing Jonathan Thomas' {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

The board fell down {10-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Spades} and Kruger's aces were able to hold, sending Thomas packing. Kruger is now sitting on about 610,000.

Massey Doubles Through Kruger

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Aaron Massey and David Kruger took a flop of {Q-}{2-}{2-} together. Massey reached for chips but then verbally announced a check. Kruger came out swinging with 25,000 and Massey came right back over the top for 56,000.

Kruger then three-bet enough to put Massey all in. Massey called and tabled {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and was ahead of Kruger's {10-}{10-}. A {5-} hit the turn and a {6-} on the river, ensuring Massey a double up to about 480,000.

Kruger Doubles Short Stack

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

A short stacked player moved all in before the flop and was called by David Kruger. Kruger rolled up {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and was dominating his opponent's {A-Spades}{2-Spades}.

The flop of {s}{6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} was safe but the {2-Clubs} hit the turn, pairing the Kruger's opponent's card. The river was the {8-Clubs} and Kruger was forced to ship 127,000 across the table.

Maletic Shoots Down Engel

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Ari Engel had the button. He moved all in for his last 102,000. The small blind folded and Mark Maletic called from the big blind.

Engel: {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Maletic: {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board brought {4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{J-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and with tens and fours, Maletic was able to send Engel off into the sunset. He's now sporting a stack of about 475,000.
