Starting Fields Combine and 93 Return For Day 2

Welcome back to our Day 2 coverage of the 2012-13 World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event presented by Southern Comfort 100 proof. The field has been whittled down from the 666 total entrants and now only 93 remain. The biggest stack in the room belongs to Bryan Campanello who is sitting behind 467,000 in chips. Clint Fawcett, who led the Day 1b, comes into play second in chips with 397,500 and Chali Abebe rounds out the top three with 373,000.

There were several notable names to make it through to the second day. These players are hoping to survive one more day of play to make the ever elusive final table. A sample size of those returning includes Cary Marshall (321,000), John Short (276,500), Nancy Todd (200,000), Allen Kessler (184,500), Kyle Cartwright (161,500), Ari Engel (114,000), Matthew Colvin (111,500), Aaron Massey (104,000), and Mark Maletic (69,000).

Those players had to cut through a field that included players whose statuses range from circuit grinder to casual player. Some of the more notable names who were unable to gain footing in either of the first two starting flights include Mark "Pegasus" Smith, La Sengphet, Matt Chang, John Dolan, Chris Moneymaker, AP Phahurat, and reigning champion of this event Kurt Jewell.

Cards are in the air at 1200 CST, so be sure to join us as we play another full day of poker and hopefully reach the prestigious final table!
