Jewell Keeps Firing

Kurt Jewell had slipped down to less than half the starting stack (20,000) by the first part of Level 2, but just now opened with a middle position raise in an effort to reverse the trend.

Jewell picked up three callers, and the four of them saw the flop come {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Jewell fired a continuation bet of 400, and two of his opponents stuck around. The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and a bet of 1,050 from Jewell, and this time just one opponent called.

The river brought the {2-Hearts}, putting a third deuce on board, and this time Jewell promptly set out his remaining stack of about 6,500. His opponent tanked for some time before finally letting his hand go.
