Richard Decowski, a World War II veteran in his nineties, is currently one of the chip leaders here in the Main Event. A native of Chicago, Decowkski earned his entry into the tournament grinding $1-$2 no limit hold'em.
With the Chicago Bears playing a big game on Monday Night Football this week, we asked Decowski if he was a fan.
"No," he answered quickly. "I hate them."
The table burst into laughter.
We'll keep our eyes on the veteran as he battles this tough field.
