The initial plan for play today on Day 2 was to finish at 2 a.m. and return on Monday at 2 p.m. for Day 3.

Now, with the final table being broadcast on WSOP.com and YouTube, the plan may change. There are three options: (1) Finish at midnight and resume at noon, (2) finish at 1:00 AM and resume at 1:00 PM, or (3) finish at 2:00 AM. and resume at 2:00 PM.

Whatever the tournament staff decides to do, the players will receive a much-needed 12-hour break.

Davison Done, Seyferth Sent Off

John Seyferth - Eliminated
John Seyferth - Eliminated

On one of the first hands back from break, Rita Davison was eliminated.

John Seyferth also exited after the break after he three-bet over an open from Robert Estepaniance. According to Seyferth, Estepaniance called, and the flop was {j-}{7-}{6-}. Estepaniance led out for 50,000, Seyferth raised all in for 250,000, and Estepaniance called, saying he thought a queen was coming.

Estepaniance had {q-}{q-}, but he was behind Seyferth's {k-}{k-}. The turn indeed was a {q-}, spiking a two-outer for Estepaniance, and the river was an {a-}.

The 700,000-chip pot was shipped to Estepaniance, and Seyferth was eliminated.

Runner-Runner Tens

Before the break...

After busting Mike Leah, Kevin Olsta opened to 26,000 in late position. Salvador Campos called on the button, and the flop fell {7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Olsta checked, Campos tossed out 65,000, and Olsta put in a raise. Campos moved all in for 590,000, and Olsta quickly called.

Olsta: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Campos: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Olsta was well ahead, but the turn and river were both tens ({10-Diamonds}, {10-Hearts}), and Campos counterfeited Olsta, doubling to nearly 1.26 million.

The Tide Rolls Over Super Tuan

Kenny Nguyen
Kenny Nguyen

Kenny "Super Tuan" Nguyen checked the {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, and Claudia Crawford bet 25,000. Nguyen check-raised to 75,000 with 137,000 behind, but Crawford wanted to play for it all and reraised all in.

Nguyen began to tank. At one point during his thought process, his phone rang aloud and he said, "Uh oh! Phil Ivey's calling to call her bluff!" Nguyen tanked another minute or two, then called with the {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for top pair. Crawford held the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades} for an overpair.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and river the {Q-Hearts}. Both missed Nguyen, and he was eliminated at the hands of the chip-leading Crawford as she moved to 2.7 million in chips.

Leah Eliminated, Takes Lead in Horseshoe Hammond Casino Championship

Mike Leah - Casino Champion
Mike Leah - Casino Champion

Mike Leah was all in preflop holding {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, and Kevin Olsta had him at risk with {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. The board ran out {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and Leah was eliminated.

Although he didn't win today, Leah is in the lead to lock up a seat in the Southern Comfort 100 Proof. World Series of Poker National Championship.

At each stop on the World Series of Poker Circuit tour, the player who accumulates the most points throughout the series is crowned the casino champion. Each casino champion earns a seat in the National Championship.

This year, the National Championship will take place at Harrah's New Orleans - the final stop on the tour. In 2012, the National Championship paid out 18 places, with the 18th-place finisher (Allen Kessler) earning $22,278. Ryan Eriquezzo, the winner, pocketed $416,051.

With a third, a fourth, and now a deep run in the Main Event, Leah has put himself in great position to grab a seat in New Orleans.
