Guagenti Nears One Million

From under the gun, Nick Guagenti raised to 44,000. Josh Williams was in middle position, and he reraised to 82,000. Action the folded back to Guagenti, who made the call.

The flop came down {K-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}, and both players checked to see the {9-Clubs} land on the turn. Guagenti led for 99,000, and Williams called.

The {Q-Diamonds} was then placed on the river to finish off the board. Guagenti bet 179,000, and Williams gave it up.

Break

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The players are now on their final 15-minute break.

Level 26, which was scheduled to be 75 minutes, will only be 60. Level 27 will be the start of 75-minute levels.

Guagenti > Estepaniance

Robert Estepaniance limped in from early position, Jonathan Tamayo completed from the small blind, and Nick Guagenti checked from the big blind. The dealer spread {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, Tamayo checed, Guagenti tossed out 27,000, and Estepaniance min-raised to 54,000. Only Guagenti called.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds}, and Guagenti checked to Estepaniance who flipped forward two blue T25,000 chips. Guagenti immediately called.

The {5-Clubs} completed the board, and Guagenti led out for 150,000. Estepaniance tank-folded {a-Spades}{6-Clubs} face up, and Guagenti flashed the {a-Hearts}.

Change of Plans

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

We will now play one more level after this one, bag and tag, then return tomorrow at 1 p.m. local time for Day 3.

Riess Busts Two

From early position, Matt Schwarmann raised all in for 172,000. The hijack seat called all in for the same amount at 172,000, then Ryan Riess called on the button. Everyone else folded, leaving Riess' {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} versus Schwarmann's {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and the hijack seat's {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

The flop, turn and river ran out {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, and Riess scopped the entire pot to bust two. He moved to 1.175 million in chips.
