Amin Sends One Packing

Ahmed Amin called the all in of a short stacked player holding {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. His opponent held {K-Spades}{J-Spades} and was looking for some help.

Amin paired up on the {6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop and never relinquished his lead as the turn was the {3-Hearts} and the river the {4-Spades}. With this win Amin is up to about 115,000 in chips.

Glass Wins The Flip

We found a player all in and at risk holding {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} against the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} of Jay Glass.

"This is exactly how I busted last night," said Glass' opponent. "My jacks into ace-king."

It seems that this would be how he busted tonight as well, as Glass paired up on the {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop. Fourth street brought the {10-Clubs} and fifth street the {7-Hearts}, giving Glass the best of it and sending his opponent packing. Glass is currently sitting on about 47,000.

Bonsack Bests Gong

We caught up to find the board reading {K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Mark Bonsack and Jiachen Gong were heads up in the hand with well over 30,000 already in the pot. The river, however, turned out to be rather anti-climactic as Bonsack checked and Gong tapped the table behind.

Bonsack showed {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for kings and deuces with a queen and Gong mucked his hand. Bonsack is now sitting on about 75,000.

Giesbrecht On Fire

Sean Giesbrecht has managed to build a massive stack since we last checked on him. He's currently sitting on about 120,000 after winning the following hand:

On a flop of {A-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Spades}, a player checked to Giesbrecht and he fired 4,000. His opponent called and the turn was the {2-Spades}. They both checked to see the {3-Clubs} hit the river. Giesbrecht's opponent shot out 5,600.

"How much? Alright, the flush is good," said Giesbrecht as he called.

"I don't have a flush," said his opponent who showed {A-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of aces.

Giesbrecht, however, tabled {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a rivered wheel and took down the pot.

Chan Reaches Six Digits

Matthew Pang opened to 1,700 from under the gun plus one and his sole caller was Lillian Chang from the button. The flop was {j-Spades}{4-Spades}{K-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {6-Hearts} hit fourth street. Once again the two checked their option and the river was the {9-Spades}.

A check from Pang prompted Chan to do so right back.

"Ace-high," said Pang.

Chan showed {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for the best hand and took down a pot that now brings her to about 103,000 in chips.
