Ludemann Takes More from Baker

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

After doubling through David "ODB" Baker minutes ago, Jarod Ludemann has neen sticking it to last year's National Championship sixth-place finisher.

In a recent hand, Ludemann opened for 1,400 from early position and then called when Baker three-bet to 3,100 from the cutoff. Ludemann proceeded to check-call bets of 4,100 and 6,100 on the {j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop and {A-Clubs} turn respectivley, and then he checked for a third time when the {K-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Baker kept the pressure on with a bet of 8,600, but Ludemann made a quick call. Baker seemed to know his {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} was no good, and he was right as Ludemann tabled the {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for a flopped set.
