Bonn Scores a Knockout

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Earlier in the day we reported a hand where reigning champion Christopher Bonn made a set of treys against an opponent. We recently came upon their table to see Bonn put the nail in that player's coffin.

On a flop of {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, an early positioned player and Bonn checked over to the player on the button. He fired 1,100 and received two calls. The turn was the {2-Spades} and there were two checks to the button once more. He moved all in for 8,050. The first player folded and Bonn carefully counted out a call.

Bonn: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Opponent: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Bonn was behind but found exactly what he was looking for when the {Q-Diamonds} peeled off on fifth street, giving him the nut flush and sending his opponent to the rail. By scooping up this pot, Bonn is now sitting on about 36,000.
